Longview Lake Horseback Riding Trail |
Easy to moderate with grassy trails along with a couple miles through and equestrian jumping area. Kinda reminded me of a golf course except it was a little hillier. |

Back at the horsepark from the previous day. Ran the grassy trail areas that border the lake. Pretty easy running. |

South Shore Lake Trail, Shawnee Mission Park KS |
This is moderate to hard trail of 3 miles one way. It is up and down over limestone and tree roots -- very typical to Ozarkian trails. |

South Lake Business Park |
This is the area surrounding where I work. The area I ran is grassy slopes. Pretty easy going except for the fierce, cold north winds that day. |

Prairie Center Trails, Olathe KS |
This is a historic sight with pioneer ruins along the trails and picturesque ponds and streams. Very hilly with a lot of limestone in places. |

Blue & Gray Park Reserve and Trails, Lone Jack MO |
This is a heavily wooded area, full of tough Ozarkian trails. Several of the miles follow the Civil War Trail, a seventeen mile trail from Missouri Town at Lake Jacomo to the trails end in Lone Jack. A few of the miles I ran were horse trails that followed tree lines along the outskirts of soybean fields. These were welcomed after the up and down running through the tough trails. |

Larry Mattonen Memorial Trail, Lake Jacomo MO |
This is a moderate rated trail with a lot of picturesque outcroppings over the water. Nice way to end the week. |
