5th Annual
Polar Barefoot Fun Run January 1, 2009

Roe Park
Overland Park, Kansas

What: 5th Annual Polar Barefoot Fun Run
When: Noon - January 1, 2009
Where: Roe Park, 10400 Roe Avenue, Overland Park Kansas
Distance: Half mile and one mile barefoot run (take your pick!). For those who want to go further, we will be running the bike path or along the path on the grassy shoulder.
Entry Fee: FREE! (Contributions will be accepted for Soles For Souls Outreach)

Start the year off right with a barefoot run! (For the less adventurous, "shod" runners are also welcome.) The weather could be mild or very cold (hey, this is Kansas City!). The Polar Bear Swim Club will have nothing on us as we continue our local tradition in the Heartland. Come be part of this annual event!

Post-race coffee and hot chocolate will be provided. As in previous years,  Barefoot Rick will provide a large cooker full of his famous ham & black-eyed peas!

Directions: From I-435, take the Roe Exit north, past Indian Creek Parkway and Suburban Lawn and Garden. Roe Park is the first left after crossing Indian Creek.
