Soles For Souls Outreach
24/24 for the Homeless

24 hour barefoot running

From 6 p.m. on Friday October 29 to 6 p.m. Saturday October 30, 2010, "Barefoot Rick" Roeber will be running barefoot for the Kansas City Rescue Mission to benefit the homeless. Come on out and support Rick as he loops the track for those less fortunate at Lee's Summit North High School, 901 NE Douglas Street in Lee's Summit, Missouri.

for More Information from KCRM's Website!

Ways to help:

  1. Pledge $24 for the 24 hours that Barefoot Rick will be out on the track.
  2. Consider making a pledge for every mile that Rick can run! (Example: A quarter [$.25] for every mile would equal $25 if Rick runs 100 miles)
  3. Come run with Rick or walk the track! Collect pledges for the laps or miles you run or walk.
  4. Volunteer to come count laps for others. We will need several folks to help support the run by helping to tally how much running and walking takes place. Please contact Julie Larocco at jlarocco@kcrm.org or 816-421-7643 to volunteer or for more information on helping..

Ways to donate:

  1. Go to the following link to download donation forms or to find out more! https://www.kcrm.org/24for24/
  2. Give directly to KCRM from their donation page. In the Gift Information section, please specify "24 FOR 24 RUN FOR THE HOMELESS" from the drop down menu.

Thank you so much for your generous support to help the homeless as the cold days of winter quickly approach.
Your donation mean so much in the lives of men and women that have so little. --
